Renae Maurer

Operations

 
 

Renae is Bright Talent’s Operations Lead, focused on building the structure behind the scenes that helps the business run smoothly and grow sustainably. She originally joined Bright Talent in 2015 as a consultant, and about six years ago moved into an internal leadership role—owning key operational functions like systems implementation, process improvement, and consultant onboarding.

Renae earned her degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from California State University, Fullerton. She began her career in recruiting at a small private marketing firm, where she discovered a passion for the operational side of talent acquisition—process improvement, reporting, and technology. She later joined Fortune 500 organizations Black & Decker, Stanley Black & Decker, and Spectrum Brands, where she helped build and manage Talent Acquisition operations and gained experience across the broader HR landscape, including mergers and acquisitions, change management, and scaling teams through growth.

Today at Bright Talent, Renae partners closely with internal leadership and delivery teams to streamline workflows, improve the firm’s systems and infrastructure, and create a consistent, high-quality experience for both clients and consultants.

Outside of work, she enjoys staying active and spending time with family—and her Australian Shepherd.
